They use boars head cold cuts, which are high end and awesome. There is an AWESOME tedeshi (?sp) market, deli and gas station just outside to the left. There is a Dunkin' just outside the entrance to the right for morning coffee/doughnuts. Most people bring all their own food, but there are several great eating options within a 5-10 minute drive if you just want to keep things simple. There is a hiking trail that makes it all the way around the lake. Each tent pad has a fire pit and picnic table there waiting for you.
A large field is awesome for playing ball or looking at the stars.
There is a large new fancy playground next to the beach, too. Prices are VERY reasonable.īoats of all varieties (except motor) can be rented for $15/hour. There are also beach items if you need an extra squirt gun or raft. There is a beach store where you can by hot dogs, candy and all kinds of ice cream bars. It can best be described as large, sandy, warm, and clean. The views are spectacular and you can actually go in the water from your site if you wanted to. I always make sure to reserve one of the 13 waterfront tent pads. It is so awesome it makes up for having to sleep on the ground and trek to the bathroom. I was referred to White Lake by a friend. As such, I oblige, but my one requirement is to camp on the water. I would not call myself a camper, but my husband and boys love it.
